Internet Name

Why did you choose the internet name that you have? Special reasons? Random thought? Mm? HOW? WHY?

I'm choosing a new one... obviously, "flame932" fits someone as generic as myself, but since NSider's gone, changing my internet name becomes easier, either through making new accounts on sites, or by *cough* getting admins to change my name. The names below are the ones I'm thinking of. Your computers may not be able to read Japanese Kanji, so just look at the text to the right to see how to pronounce/spell it. Which one do you think I should use?


苦節/kusetsu: means “unswerving determination”

蛟竜/kouryuu: means “hidden genius” (or “rain dragon”)
愛好者/aikousha: means "enthusiast/fan/devotee/one who loves something"

Japanese is a beautifully fluid language, so I decided I wanted my name to be Japanese. 'Kay? I got into the language after watching about 150 episodes of Naruto on Youtube... =D

VERUSANIMUS (from ns): i got that from two roman words combined. it means ****-----
its pronounced "wair-oos-ani-moos

JSA: my initials

W3: from world wide warrior

Lucario: one of my fav Pokemon

Itachi: one of my fav naruto characters

I wanted to join NSider for fun. To join that forum, I needed a unique name that was in a differen't language. I was learning about Latin/Greek root words that year so I decided to use words from those to make my Internet name. I also wanted to make a name about some other things.... So in the end, I came up with the name VerusAnimus. It's original (to me at least), it's in a differn't language, and I think its cool. Ever since then I've used that name and JSA. The only exceptions are Lucario and Itachi. I used those just because I wanted to for fun.

I find it redundant to have "W3~" in your name on the W3 forum. =P

As I've said before, I have a hard time making simple descisions like this. I want only one internet name for every forum/place I go... I'll be easy to find, it's benefitted me before. I also have high requirements for my screen name. =P Gawsh, I'll find baby names hard when I have kids...

Anyway, my high requirements are...
I don't want it modeled after any character, etc., that immediately labels me as a fanboy (which I am, but no one likes labels), and what if my tastes change? It's like when you're 5, and you absolutely NEED a Winnie-the-Pooh themed room... and five years later, you're still stuck with it. -_-; Ehehehh... (don't worry, gotz that all fixed up, now...)
I don't want to tack numbers to the end of it... I want it to be origonal. This is hard on big sites, where even names from other languages are taken.
I want it to be from another language... I like Japanese, so that's my language of choice. This makes the name origonal, unique, yadayada.

I'm not often so... persnicketty(sp), but this is a "big" choice. Do I have to restate myself? I HATE CHOOSING!

to make things easier, you should just sttick to flame932....

the only name i choose that's unique, based off a differen't language, not based off a character, and one i made myself is verusanimus.

but YOUR name is really up to you. howabout do that rain dragon name?

oh and i keep w3 cause i use w3 in other forums and if i use only itachi, its an ordinary name. at least w3 infront makes it reconizable.

I don't know if it's possible for a name to be more generic than "flame932". =P So that's why I wanted to change it.

You like Kouryuu? =) That was the one I thought of... But I'm still on the E/J dictionary, trying to find more options...

i got wobo because i made that word up but i think its actualy a german amplifier company but i knew nothing of them i also made the words woba woob wobi and wobba no one knows what they are i tried to make a wikipedia page but they deleted it pia!

I thought it was from Wobbafett. =P

I think I found something I like; kasai. It means fire. I need to mix it with some other word, though... kasaihawk? kasaifly? kasaiguy?

I've chosen "kamikaen", which means "divine blaze". Like it? I do. Could you change it for me, VerusAnimus? All lowercase with no quotation marks, please. =3

first it's khiller (killer) because my name Akhil (uh ki hill) then i was playing a game called and the clan name was Fear Factory and then i just created Fearmy
